BEYOND THE BULL: Taking stock market wisdom to the next level

– written by Ken Norquay. Have you ever wondered how the financial industry and the stock markets work? Have you ever wondered why you trade as you do? Just imagine what knowing these could do to improve your investing results
and help you achieve higher returns.
Ken Norquay’s new book Beyond The Bull – Taking Stock Market Wisdom To The Next Level takes an intensive look at the mystery, evil, deception and complexity of the stock market and helps readers turn these to their advantage.

Next, the author turns the focus on readers and encourages them to look
objectively inward at their brain and its five parts to see what aspects of their investment position links to each part of their brain.
Norquay builds a four-component model for thinking objectively about the stock market. Applying this model will help readers build a new path as they embark on a lifetime of self study.
On another track, the author introduces readers to the five levels of investment which are based on five keys of ancient wisdom. With some introspection, you can likely place yourself on one of these levels. He shares examples of trading techniques for each of the levels. However, readers will find that they learn even more from their own experience and from studying other investors.
Investors are encouraged to identify whether they want to make money in the markets by income investing, growth investing or through the six ways of investing for capital gains. They can learn more about themselves, about how the markets work and what other investors are thinking. But there will always be an element of the unknown as they fight this financial war.
Ken looks at the three C’s of a bear market, reviews the basics of the
Elliott Wave Theory and the difficulties of trading The Countercyclical Model.
I very much enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting it down. I could see myself in his descriptions and have identified my trading
style and areas for improvement. Now the real journey begins.
