Ode

Two crawling caterpillars met
One bright spring afternoon.
Their courtship caused them to commit
And spin a love cocoon.

They visit now, chrysanthemums,
Exploring autumn’s skies.
Knowing that tomorrow comes,
They dance as butterflies.
